Did you know…

On 23. April 1516, the Reinheitsgebot, were adopted throughout Bavaria.  These "purity laws" determined that only barley, hops and water may be used to brew beer and though yeast was later added to the list, with that exception, German brewers observe these restrictions to this day.  To mark the 499th anniversary of this enactment, from 23 April 2015, Bierschenke will launch a range of events dedicated to the excellence of Bavarian beer.  Please follow us on Facebook for further details.

Authentic decoration, brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff and most of all some of the tastiest beers I have ever sampled. This is as close as it comes to a Munich Beer Hall as there is outside Germany. If in London it is well worth a visit.
